From Short Clips to Full Tracks
Whether you need a quick 30-second jingle for a product pitch or a continuous 3-minute background track for an internal announcement video, the new music generation feature handles it all perfectly. Instead of searching endlessly for the perfect royalty-free track, simply write a prompt in Vids to create the exact sound that matches your organization’s style.
Rollout, Availability, and Promotional Limits
This powerful audio feature begins its full rollout on March 25, 2026, across both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release tracks (Google Workspace offers “Rapid Release” for domains wanting early access to features, and “Scheduled Release” for those who prefer to wait a week for preparation).
Availability: The feature is available across a broad range of plans, including Business (Starter, Standard, Plus), Enterprise (Starter, Standard, Plus), Education Plus, and Consumer tiers (Google AI Pro and Ultra), as well as specific AI and Teaching add-ons.
Important Promotional Access: Google Workspace customers will receive promotional access to higher usage limits for music generation in Vids. For a limited time—at least through May 31, 2026—Business Starter, Enterprise Starter, Nonprofits, Education Plus, and more can access and experiment with these generative AI features extensively. Afterward, standard per-user usage limits may apply, so jump in and elevate your video creation experience today!
